%VSEXIT% and %ERRORLEVEL% inside a parenthesised cmd block are substituted at parse time, not run time, so the installer's real exit code was never read. Uses delayed expansion now. Also checks for the .NET 3.5 runtime before building: WiX candle.exe needs it, and Tauri aborts the whole bundle when the MSI target fails, which silently suppresses the NSIS installer too.
