# groups read

Command: `boundary groups read`

The `groups read` command retrieves the group details for a given ID.


## Examples

The following example retrieves the group information for a group with the ID, `g_XzlDiNLgoz`:

$ boundary groups read -id g_XzlDiNLgoz
```
