The resource type method is used to automatically
create refresh tokens from a resource when that
resource is the last item returned in a page.
This also renames the iam domain ResourceType method
to GetResourceType to align with the new method.
* Adding explicit MPL license for sub-package.
This directory and its subdirectories (packages) contain files licensed with the MPLv2 `LICENSE` file in this directory and are intentionally licensed separately from the BSL `LICENSE` file at the root of this repository.
* Adding explicit MPL license for sub-package
This directory and its subdirectories (packages) contain files licensed with the MPLv2 `LICENSE` file in this directory and are intentionally licensed separately from the BSL `LICENSE` file at the root of this repository.
* Updating the license from MPL to Business Source License
Going forward, this project will be licensed under the Business Source License v1.1. Please see our blog post for more details at https://hashi.co/bsl-blog, FAQ at www.hashicorp.com/licensing-faq, and details of the license at www.hashicorp.com/bsl.
* Update copyright file headers to BUS-1.1
* Rerun make gen
This will pick up the last of the license changes
* Revert "Rerun make gen"
This reverts commit dbe0968bffd92745d8663c6940debae098395a6b.
* Remove copywrite from generation script
The current version of copywrite is not sophisticated enough
to only apply the copywrite changes to certain subdirectories,
so to avoid accidentally relicensing our api and sdk modules,
we will stop running the copywrite script until such time
that it can do the right thing.
* License protobuf API as MPL
The protobuf API files are used to generate the SDK,
since we want the SDK to be MPL, the protobuf files
must also be MPL. This extends to all protobuf files
whose sources end up in the SDK directory, including:
- internal/proto/controller/api
- internal/proto/controller/custom_options
- internal/proto/plugin
It also includes the generated service directory in
internal/gen/controller/api/services, since they are
generated from the protobuf sources used for the SDK.
* Change website license file name
This makes the naming scheme consistent with the rest
of the repository.
* Add note on licensing to README
* Set copywrite license to BUSL
* Revert "Add note on licensing to README"
This reverts commit 4d865a91a7a4f11605f0dc4609355d7e3c3cfffe.

* chore: Add new dbw dependency
* refactor: Convert to use dbw.DB
* refactor (db): Change GetTicket(...) signature
* feature (db tests): Added TestDeleteWhere(...)
Adding this allows us to eliminate a leak of the gorm library
* refactor: Add ctx to ScanRows(...) signature
This is required to refactor all the deprecated errors pkg calls.
This refactor required adding a context to quite a few call chains
and in particular the job scheduler bits
* feature (db/tests): Add support for test opt: WithTestLogLevel(...)
This test only option allows callers to specify a log level for the
underlying db package (where supported/applicable) when calling
TestSetup(...)
* refactor (db): Simplify Db type
Only store the underlying *DB and create the *RW on demand when
needed.
* refactor (oplog): Port to using dbw pkg for db operations
* refactor (db): Remove gormDB(...) func
* tests (db): Add unit tests for TestDeleteWhere(...)
* chore: make fmt changes to formatting
* feature (db): Add the ability to enable debug output for a connection
* refactor: Use scope.Global instead of "global"
* feature (db/migrations): Add kms audit keys
Add schema changes to support a new DEK for audit crypto operations.
* feature (kms/audit): Add audit key type
All the bits required to define a new DEK concrete type for
operating on audit entries.
* refactor (db): Remove deprecated migration unit tests.
We added a new audit DEK to kms.CreateKeysTx(...). Unfortunately,
unit tests like TestMigrations_UserDimension,
Test_PrimaryAuthMethodChanges and TestMigrations_CredentialDimension
have an indirect dependency on a specific historical set of DEKs via
an indirect call kms.CreateKeysTx. This of course fails because the
new DEK's tables is not a part of pinned migration versions that these
tests depend on.
* add new error funcs which take a ctx and deprecate existing funcs
* use context where available when writing error events
* remove circular internal/errors pkg dep
* suppress some chatty errors using errors.WithoutEvent()
* convert auth oidc funcs to take context where needed to write events

* NewService for the project service now returns a non pointer and an error.
* Replacing t.Fatal calls with require.NoError calls.
* Initialize empty slices following the recommended way.
* Don't inline the prefix strings when validating requests.
* Check error when cleaning up the test.
* Add check that update updates the time.
* Use google.golang.org/protobuf where possible instead of github.com/golang/protobuf.
* Shorten the validateX function names.
* Inline API responses.
* Change test cleanup error logging to t.Errorf.
* Remove unneeded creation of an extra project.
* Inline regex check for invalid id.
* Build the pb.Project inline when converting from db to wire proto.
* Change stored repos into repo creating functions.
* Using iam.TestScopes instead of creating them myself.
* Remove out of date comments.
* Update name to match go test naming standards.
* Adding project service comments.
* Using scopeType's new prefix method inside scope.go
* Setting test project's name and desc to default to pass tests.
* Change host catalog to project in test.
* Fixing merge errors.
* Fixing some more merge errors.
* Fix typo in comments.
* Fix typos in project_service.go.
* Update error indicating provided id and the expected prefix.
* Make the RepoFactory types in a common directory.
These changes create a dev org in the database on startup.
They also plumb through a dev-org-id flag that allows specifying a chosen org ID in dev mode.
The logic will allow us to let people specify a default org ID in the config file too, although currently that's not enabled.
Several other improvements were made as well:
* Consolidation of some code from across the server commands
* Plumbing shutdownch through so we can use it for canceling contexts during startup
