<em>If you keep talking, we'll keep recording.</em>
</p>
<p>For those who don't know, on New Years Eve 2025-12-31 10:00 UTC (5:00 AM EST), we will have a recording going on the HPR Mumble server for anyone to come on and say "Happy New Years" and talk about whatever they want.
We will leave the recording going until at least 2026-01-01 12:00 UTC (7:00 AM EST), and keep recording until the conversation stops.</p>
<p>
So please stop in. Say "Hi" and maybe join in the conversation with other HPR listeners and contributors. It's always a good time!!<br>

In the spirit of achieving good grammar on the HPR website, `New Years Eve` should be `New Year's Eve`.
The logic is that:
- New Year is the first of January
- The _eve_ (evening or day before) of this day is December 31st
- The _eve_ is "possessed" by the day and the phrase "New Year's" should denote this by using the possessive form (the _eve_ belonging to New Year)
- Without the apostrophe it's a plural

Sorry about the error in the ticket.
The request is to create a new page for the new year show and link it.
So the link should be https://hackerpublicradio.org/eps/hpr3246/index.html and not new-year.html
I don't have a new-year.html page. This may have been something else that didn't get copied over.
I have changed to the links to point to the promo recording. It is currently up for review on my website.

I think we need to have the content-new_year_show_announcement.tpl.html appear from only 29th Dec until the 2nd of Jan.
before that we should have another announcement page with the promo available and that should probably appear from 1nov until 28th Dec.
