Hello everyone, welcome to another episode of Hack Rupple Radio, the host operator.
This is going to be a pretty quick tip.
I know, my wife's car here, every phone is done it, but all the Android phones I've
had have this whole bullshit volume control thing and, you know, your ears are bleeding.
So, you know, I guess it's to protect the children from blown their ears out, but it's
extremely annoying to be doing something and then the voice volume get automatically dropped.
So, we're going to look at one setting which says, I went around on circles with the AI.
Google's own AI for, I don't know how long it's wearing at it.
And I'm like, this is your own phone, how do you, how do you not know your own thing?
And then eventually it's like, oh, well, you know, it's because of some laws or whatever,
which I guess I remember seeing that before.
But apparently you have to connect the device or even go somewhere in the connection settings.
And then maybe there's a setting in here that says something like device type.
And of course, that's all hallucinations.
All the answers that the AI gave me were all just hallucinations, it's not a thing.
So there is no way to do to bypass the setting as far as I know.
If you all know of anything, I know this has always been an issue with me and sometimes
it just goes away.
I don't understand how or why.
But I'm looking at this here, it says use Bluetooth and it's connected.
But it doesn't have any settings at all.
There's nothing, I can enable spectral audio or nothing, allow access to contacts and
that's it.
There's no other options here.
I can change the name.
So there's no way to disable it on my bison.
Now what I have done is I have installed a management module, got root.
So I have, who's my provider?
Mint mobile had a deal for a phone, it's my first phone I've bought in 15 years, I can't
complete.
So Mint mobile had a deal where I got a phone for basically a year's worth the service
or whatever, if I did the math.
I had to wait a day and request root access to my phone.
I set it all up and then I had to request root access and the way that Google works
makes sense is if you do unlock your phone, you have to do a complete reset because then
all the encryption is broken.
So whatever, that's fine.
Make me white my phone because that's not how encryption works, but whatever.
So maybe white my phone, I had to set everything back up again and then I got an eventually
got root or got my phone unlocked.
And then the root process, you know, 2000 style whenever we started root and phones,
I went through that mess of doing the flash, it wasn't too bad, but then they pushed
an update and I lost root, so I had to go back and find the right version and build and
do the whole thing again.
Now I know with magisks you, if you miss the reboot, if you don't catch it before
reboot on OOTA push, you will have to reboot the phone again.
So just probably magisks modules to disable OTA updates or disable reboots or something,
but you basically have to catch it before you reboot, like I don't know any other way to
do it.
It's stupid.
So you go into magisks and say install magisks and they'll be an extra option there.
This has like OTA blah blah blah and only do this after the updates are installed.
So it installs the OTA exactly, you don't get any, you don't get a chance to do that.
So it's just like reboot, like there's no option at all.
So I've caught it the past two times, it's wanted to update.
I almost do want to put in some kind of update thing, so I can manually update because
I don't need to update every month, but then again, you know, security.
And this is a work phone, use it for work, so I don't need to do that and also try to not
update my apps because, you know, I want security updates, not stupid feature updates or
ad updates, so I don't traditionally update my apps unless I'm absolutely forced to.
With that said, I disable Google Play because all the apps now are, there's three different
ways to push update notifications.
One is like back in, another is a back in and another one is like a force push through
the client.
So you can peg, you can pin every time somebody clicks a button, you can say update update
update update.
A lot of these other apps are forcing updates, a lot of them are nagging you to death through
Google Play to update.
So I actually disable Google Play so that I don't get those annoying notifications
then I turn it back on when I need to do something with Google Play.
I'm at that point now, I'm about to un-Google my phone because I'm tired, even with
root, I'm tired of all the stuff that's going on.
I'm tired of cady hijacked, I'm tired of being nagged in Google Photos 15 times if I want
to upload to the cloud and maybe accidentally click it and then I don't want that,
I don't like it, I don't want my stuff in the cloud, I put my stuff, I know how to manage
my own files, don't make me force me old man ranting type of deal.
So anyways, let's get back to the magis module, the module I use is LSPosed, LSPOSED.
The other ones I have is YouTube Music Revanced Extended and then I have seamless host, which
is basically a host file, so seamless host, YouTube Revanced and YouTube Music Revanced
Extended and that gives you kind of the features of YouTube paid without having to
think and it also has built in automatic skipping of automatic skipping of it's called
monster block, has automatic monster block.
So I'm going to look at the, the, how to actually use this module, which I don't even know
how to use it, it says modules, LSPOSED, I don't know how to even access it.
So I want to go here, you can probably even hear me tapping on my phone, which is probably
not exactly fun for you guys, I don't even know how to access it, so let's see what
he got on this little menu here, let's scroll to the bottom, and still navigate to system
audio settings, disabled save volume warning.
So it looks like they, it's like just a push, so I'm going to go to volume, if I can find
it sound in vibration, ring tone, spectral media player, dial pad, tap click sounds, oh vibration
in fact it's feeding, so that's not an option.
So it's telling me to install AIOSP Mods module, LSPOSED, if you use LSPOSED, there's a
high that you recommended module called AS, ASO, AOSP Mods that give you disabled save volume,
whatever, there's a command line that says settings put global, global audio save volume state,
that's one thing you can do, but apparently it's just just apparently it's a thing, so
my wife's card, this is not going to work for whatever reason, so we're going to try to see if we can
find this ASOSP Mods, all these Chinese Yom Mods, you're putting on your phone,
that gives you lots of confidence, right?
Oh, this was LSPOSED, plus magisks, let's see support, compatibility, pre-weck visits,
re-ordered with magisks, out of its stall, 4.2 plus, out of its stall, download stable magis module,
firmware is mentioned, installed in magis reboot, no reboot loops, whatever, download stable channel,
what does that even mean? Where's releases, they don't have releases?
I'm branches, you have branches, so I have magisks installed, I have the LSPOSED, whatever,
mod thing, and you may not break the compatibility, I don't understand, according to your firmware
as mentioned above, okay, so Android 12, 13, 13, 14, so I'm Android 10 or something,
I'm not even in that old, or I'm not even in that new, so system about pixel, pixel 10,
model, build, Android 16, okay, so we're gonna go back here, probably not an Android 16 version,
there's not, so I guess this is not a thing, so apparently I have to do pseudo-roop thing,
it enables the thing, and it's only for root, it's a build prop kind of thing,
so yeah, I guess we're just screwed, apparently there's an app that might be, that might work,
let's see, safe search, I'll be blah, blah, I went back and forth, swearing at it,
oh, like a macro-dory, so basically having a macro to constantly spam, set-up action, set-up,
I am media 100% or your preferred level, so you can just force it to 100%, but that's the same
stupid, I guess you can make a profile that says, if media is playing, or if sound is coming out
of this speaker, play it at full, or if media is playing through this device, I've done some work with
the macro app, the popular macro app with Android, it's pretty clunky, that wouldn't really
get into it, it's not worth it, you're better off just downloading a mod that does whatever you
needed to do, anyways, I hope I wasted everybody's time because I just wasted my time, and we haven't
solved any of the problems, we still have devices that we can't control, we still have any control over,
and there's nothing we can do about it, the business is usual, carry on, the certification of internet.
