Hello and welcome to another episode of Hacker Public Radio and this is the HPR Beer Garden.
I believe this is episode 8, if my little abacus is working correctly.
My name is Dave and I'm joined this time by Kevy, good evening Kevy, how are you?
Good evening, I am well and whole whole Merry Christmas for their second of our Christmas
episodes.
Two Christmas is a year, lucky you.
Well actually, if you carried our tugs jam episode, that's actually four Christmas
a year.
We are spoiling you.
Excellent, dude.
Right, so on this episode, we're going to be continuing the Christmas theme, whereas we
did United Kingdom Christmas Beers on the last episode.
We are now going to pop across the North Sea and we're going to look at Belgian Christmas
Aels this time.
Now I'll be honest, I didn't even know that Christmas Aels was a style.
I just thought, oh, that's six of them extra spices in it will make it taste Christmas
eat.
But now apparently it is a thing, looking at the Belgian ones this time round and I believe
Kevy you have a little bit of speed to give us regarding Belgian Christmas Aels.
Absolutely, and I must admit, Belgian Christmas Aels have become one of my favourite
styles.
Now, technically speaking, there's a bit of, with the beer purists, there's actually
a bit of argument as to whether it's a style at all, I can't really speak.
So yeah, that was the problem that I found actually because I went to my usual sources.
I went to my beer Bible, I went to Roger Proz stuff and a few different other different
ones, a few camera ones.
And there was mentions of modern beers, you know, especially things like a Bustinuel
and all this.
It talks about them, but it's absolutely nothing but the history of the style.
And I know from kind of past experience that the Belgian Christmas Aels, they're normally
dark, they're heavy, they're multi, they're fruity, they're the very vast majority of them.
I usually like a dark mahogany or chesnut in colour, but I want to find out a bit more of
these that I've become honest with you, one of my favourite styles over the past 18 years.
So I started to enjoy the Christmas Aels on a visit to Tomlinson's Beer Shopping in
Venice, which I got very friendly with the owner and sadly they were tired in 2018.
They were getting older and the children didn't want to carry on the family legacy, which
I broke my heart, it was terrible.
But I wasn't really willing to move to the University to see a beer shop at the same
time, you know.
My dedication wasn't that good.
So until this point to be honest, they were actually the ones who had introduced me to
this a lot of the Belgian styles, because I, you know, I hadn't really had much in the way
a Belgian beer outside of what was available in the supermarket, it's the usual kind of
offering.
But thanks to the small shop, this took my Belgian beer shop totally new level.
The love of them was just through the roof.
So when I started to delve a wee bit deeper, what I hack to be found astonished me
about Christmas Aels.
The first reference made to Christmas beer in Belgium dates back to 20th of December, 1896,
when two cafes in Charlotte Roy, it was the La Chival Arab, which is literally translated
as the Arab's camel and the globe, I'll let you work with that one.
It's an advert in the journal De Chaleiroi.
This rate, now the interest in French, I picked up the re-tighted up the original advert
and actually put it onto a translate.
And it translated as Christmas beer has arrived at La Chival Arab and the globe.
These two establishments so famous for British beers go and taste it, because Christmas
is only sold for a short time.
So I was like, oh.
So this turned out to be Maccurin's Scotch ale sold as a Christmas beer with a Christmas
label on it.
And then subsequent years, this became actually really popular in these two cafes and
it started spreading to surrounding cafes as word got out in demand from the locals
became very high.
And of course the British brewer started to jump on this bandwagon.
William Younger started exporting a Christmas beer double Scotch ale in 1903 and there
was also all sorts of burden on print with Scotch ale Christmas beer and that was
bit later in 1911.
So to my hair had to have an basement, the very beer I thought is as fantastic.
I love this, it's a style which is actually grown from a Scottish wee heavy, which
actually was amazing.
But why, of course, you might ask, why would a country that exports 50% of its beer
want to import Scottish ones?
And this was another thing that actually surprised me, it turns out that at the time Belgian
beers were actually often very weak and made an old fashion methods that the amount
produced was actually quite low and exporting wasn't in an option because it would
have been highly unprofitable.
And at the time Belgium imported a lot with half of their beer imports coming from the UK,
their main styles that they liked were pale ale, stout and Scotch or the wee heavy.
And the Belgians sold Scotch ale with Christmas labels.
That's actually all the Christmas ale was, it was Scotch ale with Christmas labels.
As Belgium bar started to notice that this demand for the imported beers, they started
to panic up it.
But what they did was they actually started to imitate the British products and with
the first Christmas ale was released when I'm going to butcher this name, so I do
apologize if you can speak French, so possibly Dutch, I'm not sure what business.
Bodry Hay, Brewery in Liège, introduced its canterbody Christmas.
Now, that was the first one that was produced as a Christmas ale.
It is worth noting that Alfred Jaden Brewery in Damp Remi, near Charlie Roy, tried to sell a
beer called Beer Dennewell, but it was just simply their own trapele which was re-badged
and the locals didn't want it because it wasn't the Scotch ale style and that was in 1903,
but that was afloat.
Not the beer itself but just the Christmas edition.
A well known Belgian beer that still exists today and probably the best known is Gordon
Xmas which actually registered its trademark right the way back in 1934 and it was actually
by the imported John Martin and it actually still exists today and until relatively recently
it was made in Scotland and then exported out it was made in Scotland, exported only.
In recent times, production has been moved to Belgium, however, despite best efforts,
I spent about three hours on this yesterday trying to work this out.
They have kept it secret as to where it is and when the production was actually made,
it seems to be brewed under license by Palm Brewery.
Although that was only one source and I wasn't 100% so I'm not treatin' as gospel.
But Palm Brewery it turns out isn't a brewery, it's a bit like saying,
in Heinrich and Rekarsburg and the UK and it's a huge conglomerate which is worldwide essentially.
Or certainly, if it's not, maybe no, it's not one of worldwide but it's nationwide,
it's nationwide in Belgium. So as far as where it's brewed, I'm not really sure.
Now it's often referred to as the original Christmas beer,
the first Christmas beer which as we know from that and like I said, I've got the original
a scan of the original newspaper clipping. So I'll actually put that in the show notes because
I think it is worth including that. Like I said, that was 18, what did I say?
96, yeah, 18, 96. This was 38 years later that Gordon Xmas was actually registered.
So there's no way it can be the original one. However, it certainly is one of the Christmas
beers that is the oldest that it's been constantly produced. Now Belgium's gain is almost
so he puts like aerolossus, Belgium's gain because every brewery in Belgium pretty much has
Christmas beer. That is based around the wee heavy kind of the island he is.
The wee heavy is all but disappeared and it's so native country. There are a couple of places
you can get it. But generally if you walk into a shop in Scotland,
listen very specialized, you will not get a wee heavy off the shelf. But in saying that,
what's actually died off largely in Scotland has actually become a thriving business in Belgium.
And it's, I'd only be through Belgium that we can still get a wee taste of this through the
Christmas eel. Brilliant. So there you go. So there was my research. Actually this is a
best home work. I've never enjoyed home work so much. I found you all your homework was beer based.
Exactly. I would have had that first class honors. I'd probably gone from my doctorate.
Excellent. The beer I've got is from the brewery VERSET. I don't know how you pronounce it in Belgium.
Obviously. It's an imperial coffee porter that comes in at 10%.
Now, when it came to obtaining a Belgian Christmas eel, forget the supermarkets.
Because when I went around looking for Christmas eels, they just hadn't heard of them.
I would imagine they probably are out now but they weren't at the time.
So I went to beer's of Europe. Why not? So many beers. So many choices.
Except Belgian Christmas eels. The only two Belgian Christmas eels they had available were a four pack
plus a free glass of bush noel, which is a 12% Christmas eel and a dashed fine Christmas eel.
One of the best. Yeah. But not of that price. No. No. No. Wait, you said free glass. I'd
dubious of that free glass. I think the glass is probably what crank the price up to over eight
pounds of bottle. Well, it's yeah. One of you going to buy it normally is about five. So yeah,
you're spending so three, twelve pound in the glass. Yeah, it's actually not that.
Given how much my beers of Europe order had actually come to, I thought.
Oh, leave this for another day. And the other one they had is the one that I have here.
So I'm going to read you the translated description that it has on the bottle for this.
Halle Luja, hello. The savior of creation has arrived. A beer even darker than your darker
sides. An imperial porter that washes away your sins and purifies your little soul.
Coffee, bread crust and chocolate bring you into temptation. Caramel dried fruit and alcohol
keep you sweet until the day of judgment. The three wise men brought for this miracle, the things
that truly matter. Coffee beans from Mo. Carefully roasted and selected to let the best
aromas flourish in this beer. Give this beer to your loved ones and thus earn your place in the
hair after. I mean, that sounds good, right? Now, I really, I actually made a mistake and I actually
had a bottle of this deal today. Yeah, I didn't mean to spoil myself in that way. The beer itself
is and you cannot get a more Christmasy beer than name than this. It is called baby Jesus.
And it comes in a 330 bottle, which is as a brown bottle, very dark. The label has a bit of
irreverent is probably the right word here. Yeah, I can make it out beer. It's like a pencil
and drawing of a baby. Yeah, of a, of a, of a baby with a dummy with a cross on it wearing a pair
of 1980s slotted sunglasses. Oh, yes, okay. And what looks like a black current tart upside down
on his hair on his head. It is. The imagery is is unusual. Let's put it that way.
Yeah, like I say, Imperial coffee porter 10% I'm going to give this give this a pop and I will share
the, uh, the aromas with your work. Hello, call. That is, um,
misting quite significantly. So it's definitely there's a lot of coffee in there. No question at all.
But it does smell quite, quite strong. I think in my original review, I might have said boozy
and I think that's probably a fair description. So let's give that a pour and then we'll get
it up. Let me get a proper. That was a really odd pour. But as you can see, it's poured very cleanly.
It's got a slightly darkened head on it, which is going to probably last about another 10, 15 seconds.
So. Mm, the stigma knows in this. Mm, so that, that has got a really, really strong coffee,
uh, a coffee aroma, but it's just quite sweet coffee. Almost like a tiramisu. That kind of,
of aroma. The beer itself is absolutely opaque. No light is getting through that whatsoever.
Uh, maybe this is what they meant in the description by the dark side. So let me give this a taste.
Wow. So it said coffee, bread crust and chocolate. Yeah, I'm getting all of that.
Caramel dried fruit and alcohol. Not getting the caramel. They've dried fruit, certainly. I think
that's where the, the Christmas Eve flavor is coming from. But it's definitely a coffee
stout. There's no question in there at all. The bread crust is coming from,
it's almost a burnt toast flavor to it. But it's not, it's not unpleasant, like burnt toast
would be. And yeah, the chocolate, I don't know if I mentioned this comparison before. Do you
remember back in the 19, whatever it was? You used to get these little pencil erasers that was shaped
like Swiss rolls. Oh, yes. And they were fragrance. And yeah, that kind of, uh, right.
Okay, smell. So I think they were supposed to be vanilla-y. So there's a little bit of
that in there as well. But I haven't thought about them. No, yeah, like I said, that's a long time ago.
Yeah, a very long time ago. You're always just to get on a Christmas always. This is really nice.
There's, it's got the coffee is absolutely there. You get the bread flavors. You get the,
the chocolate caramel, not so much. I mean, it was often you kind of get a hint of
something that might be vaguely caramely to the dried fruit, the spice, the Christmas each feel
of the ale is most definitely there. There is bitterness, as you would expect from an imperial
porter. But given that this is 10%, I'm not getting the sweetness that you would expect from an
imperial porter at all. I would go as far as to say this is probably slightly thinner.
Then I would have expected. It's not watery, but it is thinner. But by goodness, is it
crammed full of a flavour and feel and, and after taste? I mean, there's almost a little bit of
spice left behind. Even, you know, a minute after you take it, you can still taste the, um,
the spices in there as well. But yeah, this is really nice. I mean, apart from the somewhat
questionable and, like I say, marginally irreverent imagery on the bottle itself,
this is a really nice beer. It really is. Good, good, good, good, good. Now then, now you've gone
for, um, yeah, what you've went for. You, you, you, you, you guys can see in the picture. Mine is
actually on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. Very classically styled Christmas.
It's got a lie on there with a gold rounded. It's got, uh, it's not what they're focused, um,
it focused a second. Oh, there we go. Yeah, there it is. Do not move. And it's kind of special and
well. Okay. And then an English artisan Belgian ale. And that is with the only English on this
entire bottle. Everything else is saying, no, oddly enough, I don't know if you can see it,
8.5% can you see that in the bottle. Okay. Right. On the website, they're all this that's nine.
So now as far as I know, this one, they'll look doesn't see it. This was ordered as a labonchoice,
labonchoa, labonchoa, labonchoa, labonchoa, labonchoa, labonchoa. That's not that special,
no, well, I got this one from the real-style store. So I got out of each selection, but I actually
ordered a box of Christmas beers that haven't come yet. This was the only one I picked up.
I purely picked up this one because I haven't never tried this one before. So this could be
great. It could be terrible. I don't know. So I'm taking a real gamble here. So let's go for the
pop-off. Oh, do you want to find out? Very lively and I'm so good. Oh, no. I can hear how fizzy that is.
That was dashed for Z. Right. There we go. He can see the head on that. Yes. It's like, no, this one's
like, oh, my word. It is so fizzy. This one is kind of like a dark amber ear. It's almost dirty.
Yes. A lot of silence. It's the camera. I don't know. That's what, no, no, you're actually right.
Now it's looking the same as I'm looking at if I look at the screen. Right. There's shit. Yeah.
Okay. Let's go in the nose and oh, you see, very, you see,
which are mild spice in there, but I'm not. I'm trying to identify it. It's just faint.
Now from the bottle, I'm getting what I'm all tea, bready,
liver or scent, shall see. My jeans are probably going to give me another scent in the morning.
I'm so glad I moved back from the keyboard there. Right. So this is you learning your lesson from
absolutely, absolutely. So I'm going to try this if I can get past this very frothy head.
That's almost like a laggy kind of head. I'm just saying, I'm not near me. No.
Ooh, that's really different to how it smells. Really different. That's, it's
it's got molds, but it's not multi, it's a biscuity. There's fruits coming out in the back end.
It's, you know the way you get dried fruits and normally it's, you get things like raisins and
dark dried fruits. Yeah. You know the dried fruits you get that are more like citrusy dried fruits.
You know, they're much lighter in color. Yes. That's what it tastes like. It's not that it's
dried fruit, but it's not dark dried fruit. It's a much lighter one. Again, there's, there's that
spice in there that I can't identify. It's not strong. That's why I'm not identifying it. It's just
there in the back end. Yeah. I really am struggling to identify it. Actually, I must admit, see if you,
if I hadn't seen no well on that, I would never have put that as our belt and Christmas be at
at all. It's so unlike anything I've had before. In that respect. Are you querying the
Belgian nature of it or the Christmasy nature of it? No, I think it's just that probably
then modern take on it. Right. You know, it's, it's that like I said, it's not what I would,
I mean, if I, my favorite, it is probably Saint Bernardes, Christmas sale,
Nishuf Gordon Xmas, which that glass is a Gordon Xmas glass, or a bush in the well, any of those
del much multiplayer, very, very, very strong multi character to them. This doesn't have that.
That is multi there in the beginning, but not all the way through. Interesting. So that's actually,
it, it is, it is nice. I'm not dissing it. It's just not what I was expecting. I can't get over the
composition of it. It, it looks actually quite unappealing. It does. It looks, it looks like
you say it looks dirty here. I've drank and you're actually that's something that's
worried. That's incredibly easy to drink. But I did 0.5%. Right. I am going to let you score
you, as I think. Right. So how would I score this? This is interesting. I'm still quite taken by
the flavors in this, and I would go as far as to say that this is quite a unique ale for me.
I don't think I've had anything quite, quite like it. It is incredibly strong. It tastes
quite boozy. And yet, kind of like Kevin said, I'm about halfway through it already, even at
10%. I think that's because it doesn't feel heavy. It doesn't taste heavy. It tastes boozy, but this
knot is not a way down beer. I think in the grand scheme of things, I would probably score this
quite high one second. So I mean, it is a very bitter ale, which I normally I wouldn't have
scored quite highly, but the flavours that are in there, and it kind of delivers what it says
it's going to deliver. I would score this. I'm going to go for 8.5. 8.5 out of 10. I think the
bitterness of it is something that I'm not not a great fan of, so that's probably lost it at
point. But I'm not convinced that it's a 9. So I think 8.5, 8.5 would be a good
score out of 10 for this one, definitely. Okay, so that was something that you actually
quite enjoyed then. That's good. I'm glad to hear it. And actually, who don't know on this
time last year, if I had a said you'd have enjoyed a Christmas port, or you probably wouldn't have
believed me. No, probably not. Particularly with my misinterpretation of what as port are actually
is. I think I've said for quite a few years to you, when we've had a conversation about this,
the port or is definitely not my favourite style. But now that I've understood it better,
particularly when we went through imperial styles, I have a more of an appreciation of it,
which is weird, because nothing's changed. Actually, I suppose that's a bit of a problem sometimes.
We've got to get beyond. Well, see, this is weird. A lot of people that can't believe
sometimes I'll actually enjoy a larger, because I will go on over the big companies. But I'm like,
well, wait a minute, that I'll actually go to a larger there. I don't want to go down the route of
a hit lag, so every lag is evil. I certainly wouldn't drink a lag in the middle of this
end, but it's got a land, of course. No, no, probably not. But I'm especially in the same way that
I never used to like whiskey. I never used to like red wine. I never used to like porters. And yet,
those are amongst my favourite styles of their category. So taste do change. Yeah, taste change,
but also just because you don't like one, doesn't mean you're not gonna like them all. Good
okay, but you could probably take that a step further in how many people who have had
a Guinness or a particular kind of coffee or a whiskey, have actually, can actually put the
hands on the hands, say they enjoy the taste of it. Because I think in some cases, there are some
whiskeys I've tried, where I don't enjoy the taste, but by goodness, do I enjoy the experience?
And that's the reason why I will go back to them. But yeah, I used to
vehemently dislike whiskey until I was educated and given, you know, guidance on what
we're good whiskey is, what you're looking at for, the taste profiles, blah, blah, blah, a beer is
no different. No, absolutely no different. I mean, I think that's half this probably half the
problem. People have tried a mass produced lag and because it's what's available. And the thing
with a mass produced lag or shard, a lot of them aren't offensive, they're just bland and boring,
a lot of them. Yeah, so people think, oh, it's just this yellow fizzy stuff that's got no taste.
And you're like, no beer, it doesn't make a lot of taste. I mean, I've got people who are swear
blind to be, oh, that beer is all bitter. And this is how powerful that mind is and you're
mind can be as well, of course. Anybody's mind is I've given somebody a dessert stout, which is
a bit of a sweet as you can get. I could have understood them saying, sickly, I could have understood
them saying, too sweet. What I got was, oh, that's bitter and sour. And I was like bitter and
bitter and no, this is not bitter and sour. But it was just that was what they're mind, but into it.

Well, as I'm struggling to rate this to be honest, because it's definitely lacking in flavors
for Christmas sale. They're there, but they're very, very subtle. It doesn't mean it's horrible.
But as you see, I've drank that. And it's incredibly drinkable. You know what I'm saying?
See, if you'd have had me a bottle, like this bottle in a, what do you call those sleeves,
you know, the kind of coolest sleeves or whatever you call them, you know, the jackets? Yeah,
but on a hot day, I think I would have knocked that back. I'm not thought anything of it. It's
immensely drinkable and chuggable for an 8.5% beer, which is dangerous. You wouldn't have known
by drinking it. No, I mean, certainly the strength is not there. There is no everything in
it's subtle. See, had you told me this is like a Belgian ale, which is a Belgian Christmas ale,
which is normally kind of between 8 and 12 roughly. See, if you had told me, oh, that's a
4% version, I would have believed you, because the flavors are subtle. Yeah. And it also,
it's body is light. So it's really, it's, how can I describe this? I would class this more.
More closer to our English bitter. That's what it actually is more like. Okay, you know, there's,
it does have the bitterness. There is, there's a biscuitiness to it. There's a light fruitiness to it.
And it's not a dark fruit, whatever, I'd expect from a Belgian ale. It's, it's light fruit,
dried fruit, actually. Because again, it's subtle. It's more subtle. It's not in your face. It's subtle.
And I have to put that through on my, and my recording as well, because I have to give the caveat
that I almost feel like it's a false advertising on the bottle. You know, for this one. But as far
as a pure beer goes, it's very drinkable. The flavors are a bit on the boring side,
as I'm going down, because they're just, they're not staying. There's no, there's no aftertaste for
me. It's, there's the subtleness to it. And I'm kind of wanting to constantly go back and go,
there must be more flavor to this. And there's not. It's a shame. It, yeah, it's not horrible,
but this really for me, it's maybe better than average slightly. So I'm going to go down
five and a half. I'm going to go five and a half for the tin. Oh, okay. Yeah. So it's not terrible.
Interesting. It just doesn't have flavor. And it, it's just especially surprising. Given this
one, this is a Belgian ale, and two, this is a Christmas ale, kind of, which should be exploding on my
taste buds. It's not. But even if I was just reviewing this as a normal bitter, I would say that,
okay, it's better than the likes of John Smiths, but I've had better bitter. I've had more flavor
for bitter than that. Hmm, yeah. I did notice on the side of the bottle it does say it's an Amber,
an Amber ale, or an Amber beer. Were they hecked, did you see all of this in the bottom left, yes?
Yeah, beer, beer, and breeze. And then underneath it, Amber beer. Yeah, which, which I would probably
associate with something like a dumbar or that kind of ale. And see, it's a step up from dumbar.
I mean, dumbar's fine. No, dumbar's one of those, it's fine. And it's available generally
most places and it's better than the mass produced lager. But it's nowhere near a good deal.
You know, that kind of way. Yeah. Yeah, probably wouldn't see it's too far off of a dumbar. Yeah.
But like broadside, broadside is another Amber ale. That will always get a five on
on tap whenever I drink it. It's a no brainer for me. But it just goes to go to show that
nor hope is at the same. No, definitely not. Definitely not. I was tempted to go from a regular
spathode. No, I want to try something different. And I'm glad I did. But from my past experience,
this is not what I would expect from my Belgian Christmas seal. That doesn't mean it isn't one.
It's just not what I would expect from one. Right. Yeah. Right. I suppose if it's something you've
never had before, and you're taking it at literally at face value, you're told that this is a
Christmas ale. But when you try it, you're like, this isn't a Christmas ale. Yeah. That's not your fault.
That's it. Absolutely. So I'm not saying that everybody, actually this would probably be
something special to give somebody who's a lager drinker at Christmas, because if they've never
ventured at a lager, this is probably quite a good addition. Let's see. But for them to get to the next
level. Well, you say that, but one of the principal characteristics of a lager is that it is crisp.
And by the sounds of it, that wasn't. No, I wouldn't see it was crisp. No. No. No.
Oh, but yes. Any living mind? That is us. So yes, so that this, yeah, I was on the naughty list this
year and Santa may be left me a bit of a lump of cool here. Oh, bless you. Right. So we have had some
feedback on a couple of our previous shows. The one we did episode four, which is where you and I
Kevin spoke about a vice beer before Paul came and joined us and actually told us the truth.
We've had a comment from T.A. Spinner, who said, great episode. I look forward to more. I thought
this was a good coverage of my current favorite style. I too, and constrained by what I can find in
America, but sampled and love both Erdinger and Franken Scarner whilst living in Germany.
They may be misproduced, but they are good. I look forward to reviews of new bruise to explore.
Yes, thank you very much. That was T.A. Spinner. No, the last one that was done and released
a time recording was the one yourself and Paul went on the time. It was because I had the cold
and it was Claudio M. And this is somebody we both know from, even going back to identical days,
I think. So it's both our tasty. Thanks again for this episode and this beer garden series,
fellas. Both of these have had hidden the USA and they are pretty good. My eldest sons like
chauffeur hofer and I'm quite fond of the Erdinger donkel. I only get the donkel every once in
a while as it's not something I'd be consistent drinking consistently. Just something to enjoy
every now and again when I'm feeling a little dark, winky face. I guess it about the donkels.
Yes, yeah. Foggy commented back on the vice beer one and he said Erdinger is good, which is
when I had, but when you get the chance you should test chauffeur hofer. And I can actually say
I tested chauffeur hofer myself and I did actually enjoy it. chauffeur hofer heffer vice.
So I did actually try that and yeah, I can recommend it. It was good. It was, I'd say it was an in-between.
It was to me, it was more tasty and erdinger, not quite as tasty as France's scanner.
All right, in-between. I would say it was more like a support I think of now after trying a few
of such traditional hair for vice and it had the banana, it had the weakness to begin with.
It lacked a clove that I'm peppering in there so that I've quite enjoyed with some of the
hair for vice and I've tried since then. So yeah, certainly very drinkable and the good news is
I can get the chauffeur hofer hair for vice and available locally at one of the local petrostations
of all things. Okay. That's decent. Of course, when you're talking about the chauffeur hofer,
you're not talking about the great breaches one that we had. No, no. I do have that chance
sitting at the garage. I am not touching the side of next summer. I thought you're going to
say the side of next Christmas, but I would imagine that we will be sitting here recording
I don't know if it's so 52 of the big garden and I'll ask you, I know. Oh yeah, it's
still in the garage. It's still the guy who's got a cobweb as a fan of his spiders thrown
at me, but it's still there. I thought that I would have got up and walked off by itself.
Probably possibly. There's a good chance of that actually. Yes, so yes, so please do actually
leave comments. If you, if you actually have one that beer that you'd like to review,
then please do, you don't have to actually leave it in a comment. You can actually go and review this
as one of the beer garden things. We don't have exclusivity on this. This is a community podcast,
so please do contribute. So tune in tomorrow for another exciting episode of Hacker Public.
