First release. A single app: YouTube Music player plus a now-playing overlay server for OBS.

    Platform File
    Linux (x86_64) WhatsThatMusic-1.0.0-linux-x86_64.AppImage
    Windows (x64) WhatsThatMusic-1.0.0-win-x64.zip
    macOS (Apple Silicon) WhatsThatMusic-1.0.0-mac-arm64.zip
    macOS (Intel) WhatsThatMusic-1.0.0-mac-x64.zip

    OBS setup

Add a Browser Source pointed at http://localhost:9095/. The server starts with the app. If port 9095 is taken the app falls back to the next free port and tells you which one — update the browser source to match.

    Notes per platform

Linux — chmod +x the AppImage, then run it. Needs fuse2 (Arch/CachyOS ships fuse3; install fuse2 alongside it). The tray icon needs an AppIndicator extension on GNOME; KDE and XFCE show it natively.

Windows — unzip anywhere and run WhatsThatMusic.exe. Unsigned, so SmartScreen will warn: More info → Run anyway.

macOS — unzip and move to Applications. These builds are unsigned and not notarized, so Gatekeeper will refuse them on first launch. Clear the quarantine flag:

    xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/WhatsThatMusic.app

Pick arm64 for M-series Macs and x64 for Intel.

    Build provenance

All four artifacts were cross-built on Linux and inspected: the overlay is bundled in each, and the macOS binaries were confirmed as genuine arm64 and x86_64 Mach-O. The Linux build was additionally launched and its embedded server verified serving the overlay. The Windows and macOS builds have not been run on their target OS.
